Week of Nightmares Events

Monday, September 17th.

11:00 AM - 5:30 PM. Limited Format Event (To Be Determined).

5:30 PM - 7:30 PM. Break and Free Play. During this time, guests at the Embassy Suites will be able to enjoy the free Manager's Reception which includes finger foods and free drinks (alcholic and non-alcoholic drinks).

7:30 PM - 2:00 AM. Mini-Qualifier. 2R+F. Winner of event wins a qualifying spot for the North American Champsionship.

Tuesday, September 18th.

11:00 AM - 5:30 PM. Lords of the Night Launch Party.  The price for either event will be $15. Each player will receive 1 random starter and 4 boosters.  They will sit at a table of 4, and draft from those boosters to make the best deck that they can.  They will then be reseated with other players for the next 2 rounds.  Tables of 4 will be preserved.  Two boosters will
be given for each game win during this event.  No final round will be played.

Wednesday, September 19th.

11:00 AM - 5:30 PM. Limited Format Event. Depending on interest, either the Tuesday A.M. format (above) will be repeated, or a Third Edition Boosters + Lords of the Night Boosters event will take place.  If the booster format is chosen, then 4 boosters of each set will be drafted, with 4 booster given for each table win in the 2 rounds.  Four player tables will be used throughout.  Table Draft / Rochester Draft will be used, with the vampires drafted first, then the library cards. 7:30 PM - 2:00 AM. Phase Motion Event. Organized by Chris Shorb. In this variant, players' turns overlap -- they all conduct each phase together before moving on to the next phase. And the phases are handled in the order the players choose. Rules can be downloaded here.

Thursday, September 20th.

11:00 AM - 5:30 PM. Limited Format Event (To Be Determined). Event run by Kevin Mergen.
