The Event Location

All Week of Nightmares and organized V:TES events will take place in the newly renovated Ambassador Ballroom of the Embassy Suites LAX Airport South (click for the hotel's eBrochure). Located minutes from the LAX Airport and 2 miles from the beach, players will be able to reach the venue via the hotel's free airport shuttle. The hotel features free street parking as well as free parking in the garage for players not staying overnight. The hotel bar has TVs which run sporting events as well as a billiards table. The in-hotel Capistrano's Restaurant offers a varied menu that runs from burgers and sandwiches to seafood, pastas and California cuisine. Other dining choices within easy walking distance are Starbucks, Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, IHop, Stick and Stein, Manna Japanese Grill, Quiznos Sub, Express Chinese Food, El Pollo Loco, Wiki Wiki Barbeque, Carl's Jr./Green Burritto, Chile Verde Mexican Food, Petit Cafe, Sizzler, Mega Wraps, and more.

We recommend The Embassy Suites for the most comfortable and convenient stay. The Embassy Suites has given us a great deal at their venue that includes a free daily cooked-to-order breakfast (not a "Continental Breakfast") and a free "Manager's Reception" that includes finger foods and beverages (soft drinks as well as alcoholic beverages) from 5:30 to 7:30 nightly. Best yet, these free food and drink options are just a few feet away from the Ambassador Ballroom that will house the V:TES events. Even if you choose to stay at one of the other local hotels for the first part of the week, we recommend that you at least join us for the weekend at the Embassy Suites when the prices drop to their lowest point.

All of the Embassy Suites rooms are 2-room suites and will contain either a king or two double beds, two televisions, a kitchenette with a sink, a microwave and refrigerator (in case you want to save a few dollars and stock it with food from the grocery store) and a coffee maker. The "living room" of each suite contains a sleeper sofa, table, and chairs—all the more convenient for sharing a room with friends. When sharing a room, we think the 3 guest arrangement is the best value since all three particpants will each get a bed.

Important: Due to some early misinformation in the hotel computers and our website not being clear enough, not everybody was properly understanding the hotel pricing.  Please note that your nightly rate depends on which night you arrive. If you check-in before Friday you will not be getting the $119 weekend rate. Instead you will get the blended rate of $139 for your weekday through Monday-checkout stay. Normally, the hotel's weeknight rates are about $200. Select your pricing table below by choosing your check-in day and then calculate your entire stay using that table only.

Travelodge and Homestead Suites

Of course, if you stay elsewhere you won't be able to enjoy the Embassy Suites' free breakfast and Manager's Reception or the convenience of being so close to the ballroom. That said, know that the LAX South Travelodge is a half mile from the Embassy Suites. There is also a Homestead Suites within a mile.

Other Area Hotels

If none of these options suit you, there are dozens of other hotels near the venue if you're willing to pay a few dollars for cab fare.
